New Zealand singer-songwriter Bic Runga revealed that her United Kingdom tour had attracted a strong response from fans, with three of the four scheduled shows selling out before the tour got underway.
The Bristol, London and Manchester performances were all fully booked. Runga said she was overwhelmed by the support and looked forward to returning to the road.
The tour opened in Bristol before heading to Brighton, London and Manchester later in the week. Joining Runga throughout the tour was fellow New Zealand artist Silicon, who performed at each of the four shows.
With demand exceeding venue capacity, Runga also announced that her sold-out London performance at The Garage would be livestreamed through Lounges.tv. The online broadcast gave fans in New Zealand and elsewhere around the world the opportunity to watch the concert in real time.
Thanking supporters for their enthusiasm, Runga said she was excited to perform for audiences both in person across the UK and online through the livestream.
