Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering after undergoing surgery following a stabbing incident at his Mumbai home.
The attack occurred early Thursday when an intruder entered Khan’s residence, leading to a scuffle during an alleged attempted burglary.
Khan sustained serious injuries, including a major wound to his thoracic spinal cord, which required surgery to remove a lodged knife and repair spinal fluid leakage.
Additional injuries to his hand and neck were treated by a plastic surgery team.
Mumbai police are investigating the incident, while Khan’s team has assured fans that he is out of danger and recovering under medical supervision. Known for his roles in films like Dil Chahta Hai and Omkara, Khan comes from a prominent lineage of Nawabs and Bollywood stars.
His family, including wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
