Prince Charles’ charity in fresh cash for honours probe

The charity of Prince Charles is facing a new probe by the Charity’s Commission into donations made by a Saudi billionaire.

The statutory inquiry will look at the Prince’s Foundation’s dealings with the Mahfouz Foundation, which is run by Saudi businessman Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz. Mahfouz was given an honorary CBE by the Prince in 2016.

Prince's Foundation news

The probe is to investigate whether the foundation received donations meant for the prince’s charity, with some cash then moved elsewhere.

This is the second probe into the foundation, with Scottish authorities investigating a £500,000 donation from a Russian donor later rejected by an ethics committee.

More controversy took place earlier in the year when the Foundation’s Chief Executive Michael Fawcett resigned after it emerged he promised to secure Mr Mahfouz British citizenship and a knighthood in return for big donations.

  1. Prince Charles ‘heartbroken’ at war according to MSM. Oh really? How did he mend his heart when Houthis/Burmese when are killed? Did he get a heart replacement with Iraqi, Serbian, and Libyan bombings & killings?

War criminal Tony Blair was recently knighted for mending his broken heart I guess.
