US President Donald Trump has stated he will not deport Prince Harry despite an ongoing legal battle over the Duke of Sussex’s immigration records, sparked by his past drug use admissions in his memoir Spare.
The Heritage Foundation is suing the Department of Homeland Security, alleging Harry may have received preferential treatment from the Biden administration.
While Trump dismissed the idea of deportation, saying, “I don’t want to do that, I’ll leave him alone,” he slammed Meghan Markle, calling her “terrible” and adding that Harry has “enough problems with his wife.”
Trump, who has previously praised Prince William as “a great young man,” privately met him in December at the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in Canada for the Winter Invictus Games, while their children, Archie and Lilibet, remain in California.
