Globalist WEF founder Klaus Schwab steps down

Klaus Schwab news

Klaus Schwab, the controversial founder and long-time chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), has officially stepped down after over five decades of steering the organisation that came to symbolise elitist globalism.

Widely criticised for promoting a top-down, technocratic vision of world governance, Schwab used the WEF and its annual Davos meetings to cultivate influence among billionaires, politicians, and corporate power brokers—often at the expense of national sovereignty and democratic accountability. His vision of “public-private cooperation” masked a broader agenda that many believe enriched a global elite while pushing intrusive policies on climate, digital control, and economic centralisation.

Schwab’s resignation at age 87 marks the end of an era that saw the WEF become a lightning rod for criticism from populists and skeptics of globalisation.

Though he openly acknowledged the growing backlash against globalism years before Brexit and Trump’s rise, Schwab’s response was not to adapt but to double down—advocating for increased integration and sweeping reforms under the guise of solving “global crises”. Critics say the WEF became an unelected power centre, out of touch with the concerns of everyday people and unaccountable to them.

Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, former Nestle CEO and current WEF vice chairman, has been appointed interim chair while a search committee begins the process of selecting a permanent successor, the organisation announced.

  1. At 87 Schwab becomes a liability. Unable to perform in the way his masters tell him. Does not have authenticity. Is toxic and hated. Frightening to the people . No one will listen to him.

Arden burnt up all her followers. Luxon is next.

  2. Peter Brabeck-Letmathe is a real danger man – he was the one wanting to privatise ALL the worlds water.
He was the boss of Nestle – which is troubling seeing as its food…
They want a reduction of the poor in the world – is get rid of us. Join the Dots.

  3. Regrettably the creepy, dystopian elite boys club remains, even without this old character. Its up to us NOT to vote for anyone listening, to these people and their weird, oftentimes disturbing, ideas.

  4. Schwab is under investigation by the organization he created after a whistleblower alleged financial and ethical misconduct by Mr. “eat the bugs” and his wife.
The board launched a probe during an emergency meeting on Easter Sunday. In response, Schwab resigned immediately as chairman vs. staying on for an extended transition period as previously planned.
