A former student has come forward stating she had raised concerns about inappropriate behaviour by Peter Thomas, the disgraced music teacher at Epsom Girls Grammar School (EGGS), months before his sexual misconduct with another student was officially addressed.
The student. who was in Year 12 at the time, had reported to school counselors that Thomas exhibited inappropriate physical reactions in class, including allegations he had erections.
Despite her complaints being escalated to senior staff, including the deputy principal, the school’s investigation concluded without substantiation of her claims, resulting in the student being barred from the music department and scholarship music courses, which she believes ended her potential music career prematurely.
The school’s response to these allegations has been criticised, especially after Thomas was later found guilty of serious misconduct involving another student, resulting in his censure and removal from teaching.
There’s places on the planet where “of age” young ladies will marry an older man.
No need to mess with school girls, js.
