An Official Information Act release obtained by legacy media shows the Government has spent $10.7 million on redundancy payments since November 2023 as it dismantles research agency Callaghan Innovation.
Over that period, 209 staff have been laid off, reducing the workforce by 57 percent from 367 to 158, including 114 scientists and the chief scientist.
Further cuts are expected before the agency closes in 2026. Science Minister Shane Reti said the move is part of the most significant reform of New Zealand’s science system in 30 years, replacing Callaghan Innovation with new investment in research areas such as artificial intelligence ($70 m), advanced materials ($71 m), and a biodiscovery platform ($42 m).

It’s scary stuff. No wonder people hate this govt when they have been relying on gifted money from the govt (taxpayer) from the previous govt who literally printed money from thin air! Now the cost of living is so bad people are really doing it tough.

Does anybody remember Eisenhower stating 80 years ago that who controls the weather controls the world. Climate Change, Global Warming are all phrases invented by the ‘Elite’ to bilk the masses. Its all a gigantic hoax. Its all about fearmongering persuasions and mandates to keep you worried while they are doing something else somewhere else. The people must stop buying into this and go for the cold hard facts. They spray the skies under all different guises with all manner of mind bending crap and poisons which enables them with the assistance of 5G and HARP to change the weather on a whim at a moments notice. Earthquakes volcanos storms floods droughts snow and sandstorms you name it. If they stopped all this criminal interference the Earth would return to be quite normal again even with a 100 billion people on it. Its all for profit and control for the ‘Elite’ so they can treat peoples of the world as their possessions just like cattle. But I fear it will take more than another 80 years for the people to wake up and take back control and that of their own destiny.
Yep, Charities, NGO, and Not For Profits, etc, and just jobs for the boys and girls that they can’t give real government jobs to, they are all Para-govt employees that answer to nobody but live off our tax bill.
