A bus driver has been found guilty of indecently assaulting a lone international student in Auckland after refusing to open the doors and engaging in unwanted physical contact during a late-night journey.

The court heard the driver, named Kartik Kamiesh Kuma, turned off the bus lights, asked personal questions, and pressured the woman into allowing him to kiss her hand before groping her breast.

The victim, fearing for her safety, complied before fleeing the bus and reporting the incident.

Kumar denied the allegation, claiming he had restrained her over suspected theft, but the judge rejected his account as self-serving and inconsistent with CCTV footage.

The evidence showed deliberate actions, including dimming the lights, to obscure the assault. The charge was proven, with sentencing or a possible discharge without conviction to be decided at a later hearing.

  1. And the New Zealand Company’s church parliament has opened the floodgates to allow more of these ‘free trades’ into NZ. Good trade eh.

    • According to legacy media this lowlife was one of 50 ‘imported’ bus drivers from Fiji to fill job shortages at Pavlovich Coachlines. The bus company apparently used an outside recruiting agency to fill the vacancies.

Clearly there are holes in the immigration system ‘big enough to drive a bus through’. Perhaps if the bus industry offered decent wages and working conditions, then maybe New Zealand drivers would be willing to do the job. As it stands now the bus industry is in a continuous race to the bottom.

      • A few years back I flew into NZ to visit my Mum for a while and while there bussed about. On one trip home I caught the GI bus from Newmarket and the Kiwi bus driver was swigging out of hip-flask in a brown paper bag the whole way. I’ve had a taxi driver like that in NZ too.

      • And…regular Kiwis cannot find or have jobs that the third worlders will do for half the cost!
Nothing like maintaining National Sovereignty, right Winston?

  2. Oh for f$#&s sake, when will we just deport these filthy Indians! Yes, those that Luxon looks up to as a “model” Kiwi.

  3. ‘…The charge was proven, with sentencing or a possible discharge without conviction to be decided at a later hearing.’
I’ll bet the farm this is not the first time this man has done this. It was a planned, not spontaneous, attack.
There seems to be a conspiracy within the judiciary to lessen punishment for rape and sexual assault which a ‘discharge without conviction’ would fulfill. This is particularly noticeable with immigrants in the UK and Europe and now, it seems, soon to be here.
If rape becomes a free for all, and abortion is criminalised, I wonder what will happen…

  4. Avoid eye contact. Carry correct change. Do not sit in the line of sight of the rear view mirror. Carry minimal luggage.

  5. Well done National (with Labour’s green light) with your India free trade agreement. I’m sure those arriving here would never do this, right, right?

Look forward to showing you the door this election.

  6. And so it begins..Indians in the UK are over represented in rape stats (source the lotus eaters). Lying to cover their ass also known as izzat (izzat primarily refers to the reputation of oneself and one’s family in the eyes of society) If he gets convicted he will be lowered in status.. He should be deported no ifs no buts & no bleeding hearts.. My guess he won’t be as will many others when the flood gates really open.. We’ve already imported one of the worse groups i.e afghans .What you see in europe etc
