A disturbance near Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour on Friday evening led to several arrests, according to police reports.

The incident unfolded around Quay Street just before 7:30 pm, prompted by complaints of drinks being tossed from an apartment balcony near Lower Hobson Street.

Upon police arrival, a confrontation involving multiple individuals erupted, prompting law enforcement to intervene. As a result, several people were apprehended and taken into custody.

Although some involved in the altercation required medical attention, sources confirmed that there were no serious injuries reported.
