The man accused of a random knife attack in Auckland’s Murrays Bay appeared in court today.
The 41 year old was granted interim name suppression at the short hearing at the Waitakere District Court and remanded in custody.
He is charged one count of Assault and four counts of Wounding with Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm.
Police said in a statement today that they ‘would like to reassure the community that this was an isolated incident. People may notice an increased Police presence in the Murray’s Bay and Mairangi Bay area as the investigation into the incident continues.’
The man’s next court appearance is set for next week.
Cool, name suppression.
So definitely not pakeha then.
I’ll just be over here pretending not to notice things ????
So intrigued- who is this ‘local person’?
