He died in his father’s arms on the roadside.

The devastating incident has left his family and friends heartbroken, including his 16-year-old son and girlfriend in New Zealand.

Robbemond, a passionate engineer and beloved member of the Superstocks Teams Racing community, has been remembered as a kind-hearted and generous soul.

Tributes poured in from friends and racing teammates who admired his sense of humour, dedication, and compassion.

South African authorities have located the attackers’ vehicle. The manhunt continues.
