A police investigation is underway following a firearms incident in Wiri overnight, which left one person with minor injuries.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Felicia Place, where authorities responded to reports of a disorder involving two groups of people. During the altercation, shots were reportedly fired, and one of the groups left the scene in a vehicle.
One individual was found with minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for assessment.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the event or has information to come forward.
