Police can now confirm the name of the man located deceased outside an Oaonui property on Sunday.
He was Jacob Ramsay, 33 of Taranaki.
‘Jacob was a husband and a father, and our sympathies are with his loved ones at this tragic time,’ said a statement from police.
‘The homicide investigation is continuing and we have a dedicated team working to determine the circumstances of Jacob’s death and hold any offenders to account.’
