A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found critically injured on Hampton Downs Road, Whangamarino earlier this week.
The 42-year-old suspect was apprehended in Auckland and is set to appear in the Counties Manukau District Court today, facing a murder charge.
Police are continuing their investigation and have not ruled out the possibility of further arrests or charges. Authorities are still seeking information from anyone who was traveling along Hampton Downs Road between 10 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, and 1 a.m. on Monday, October 14, especially if they have dashcam footage.
