A woman ran out of the Greenlane Countdown without paying for her groceries.
Two people were waiting in the getaway car to help load up the estimated $1,000 worth of stolen loot. The incident happened around 2pm yesterday, according to police.
A witness later reported seeing the getaway car broken down on the Southern Motorway near the Khyber Pass exit.
Waka Kotahi advised motorists to avoid the area.
