A UK visitor has died following a crash between a car and a four-person cycle in Martinborough this morning.
Three others were seriously injured, with one flown to the hospital in critical condition. The crash occurred on Puruatanga Rd, a popular cycling route near wineries, less than an hour after the group rented the quadricycle.
Authorities are investigating the cause, with reports suggesting the car may have rear-ended the cycle. The road remains closed as the Serious Crash Unit examines the incident.

Fatal consequences
& yet the speed limits have been raised in areas that are known for crashes.
BUT-…it’s all part of the de-population agenda using any methodology to achieve the evil result.
If any area needed a bike path, then it’s Martinborough in order to accommodate this activity, with a 70 KPH speed limit for that particular stretch of road on which the wine-cycles run.
