Andre Wickliffe died two weeks after intervening in a fight between two women in Glenmall, West Auckland on 24 September.
It’s understood Wickliffe was injured after being punched by one of the woman. She was charged with assault, but that was upgraded to manslaughter following Mr. Wickliffe’s passing.
The woman was meant to appear at 10am in the Waitakere District Court this morning.
