Meditation, the Pineal Gland and Claustrum oil

I started meditating really by chance, back in 1987.

A karate blackbelt moved into our student flat in Dunedin.

He was an interesting guy, and I wrote about him in my story Hickey.

Within a few weeks of moving in, he had all of us in the flat meditating and running.

I ended up meditating heavily for over a year, including the summer vacation at my hometown in Northland.

It is difficult to properly explain the effect of meditation to people who have never done it. And it is not for everyone. Some people get little, or no benefit from it. But for me, it changed my life. The effects I experienced included: clarity of thought, better concentration, more energy, more even moods, less irritation, a desire to improve my diet and partying habits, more motivation to exercise, and probably most important for me was having more confidence around people.

During times of heavy meditation, I did experience feelings of euphoria, and on occasions I experienced bright colour flashes in my mind, from memory, orange and green.

I recall one day feeling ecstatic at simply watching a cloud in the summer afternoon sky.

When I began full time work it was difficult to fit the fifteen to forty minutes meditation into my daily schedule. But whenever I did, it always gave me more motivation, and I achieved more.

Over the years I continued to meditate when I could. I had no special technique and I never used a mantra. I adopted my own technique, which changed little over time.

But I had no idea why it worked.

Recently I did some research into that.

The first thing I discovered during my research was the pineal gland. The pineal gland is a tiny gland in your brain which helps regulate your circadian rhythm by secreting the hormone melatonin. In other words, it is related to your sleep cycles and dreams.
People believe, yet it is still to be conclusively determined that the pineal gland also produces and releases DMT, a powerful hallucinogenic.

DMT is said to be the reason we dream. And it is also said that when we die our brain is flooded with DMT.

This could explain near death out of body experiences.

The pineal gland has also been referred to as the Third Eye, and the Eye of Horus. It appears to be referred to as the Lamp in the Bible.

Other people assert that the Eye of Horus is the surrounding area of the pineal gland, which is in the shape of an eye, with the pineal gland being at the bottom left of the eye. This is where meditation comes in. Meditation of any kind is said to open and activate your pineal gland.

The Eye of Horus has appeared in popular culture.

For example, on the cover of the album, Eye in the Sky by the Alan Parsons Project in 1982.

And more recently in Katy Perry’s 2013 music video Dark Horse.

Meditation opinion

It is accepted that a healthy and functioning pineal gland is very important to our overall health and wellbeing. Of course, this is because it is connected to our sleep cycles. But I would also add that a healthy pineal gland is important for awareness. Meditation stimulates and opens your pineal gland, and so with meditation we can become more aware.

The pineal gland can become calcified, and when it becomes calcified it is accepted that it will not function properly.

This is where I should mention what many would consider “conspiracy theories”.
These are that fluoride is a leading cause of pineal gland calcification. Many argue that putting fluoride in the water and other substances therefore dumbs down the general human population.

And that the chemicals in chemtrails serve the same purpose, to calcify one’s pineal gland.
Perhaps the most interesting part of my research was learning about claustrum oil, which I had never heard of before.

Claustrum oil is produced by the claustrum which is often referred to as the “wall of the brain”. It is a thin curved sheet of neurons embedded in white matter, located in both brain hemispheres deep to the neocortex.

Claustrum oil is a special secretion that travels down from the central part of your brain down your spinal cord and then back to your brain. If the oil is not wasted, then it increases in volume greatly and activates new parts of your brain or neurons. It is well accepted that we only access a tiny part of our brain, and the oil allows us to access more of it.

Claustrum oil is also believed to have healing powers, makes “new blood” (thus slows down the ageing process) and enhances sexual power.

If you look at the emblem of the World Health Organization, you will see a snake and a staff with a bump on top of it. To me this is a clear depiction of the claustrum oil rising and falling up and down the spine, with the pineal gland which is often depicted as a pinecone at the top.

Pineal gland opinion

Interestingly though, this is not the formal explanation of the WHO. They claim that this originates from the story of Asclepius who was revered by the ancient Greeks as a God of healing and whose cult involved the use of snakes.

The process of the claustrum oil production occurs once a month. Some people assert that it occurs in the two-and-a-half-day period when the moon is in the star sign you were born in. The only problem with this assumption, is which lunar or solar calendars to use, because they vary.

We know now that the Romans changed the calendar by adding two extra months, July and August, named after Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar.

Many people point to tortoise and turtle shells as confirming that there are in fact thirteen months of twenty-eight days in a year.

But whenever it occurs, we can assume that it is sometime each month.

Again, certain practices increase the claustrum oil, and certain habits decrease or squander it.

Meditation of any kind increases it, and semen retention also increases, or at least maintains it. In this case masturbation is the biggest waster of claustrum oil, and it also wastes testosterone.

Conspiracy theorists may again chime in here, adding that this explains why the porn industry is not strictly regulated.

Studies have shown that there is a significant increase in testosterone in males after seven days of abstention from ejaculation.

The method of retaining semen during lovemaking known as coitus reservatus is an ancient technique practised by many cultures such as the Taoists for sexual, spiritual, and intellectual empowerment. In coitus reservatus a woman can enjoy prolonged orgasm while a man exercises self-control.

This idea led to me writing my story Blue Balls.

This is also a common practice of the Freemasons, who swear by Kundalini meditation.
Here is a rare video of a high Freemason discussing claustrum oil and coitus reservatus.

If you watched the video, you would have noticed that the Freemasons in fact assert that retaining your semen can increase your penis length and girth.

Some people have asserted that it takes between two weeks and a month for a male body to fully recover from orgasm.

Many French refer to the orgasm as la petite mort, the little death, suggesting a reduction in one’s life force each time one orgasms.

Abstaining from ejaculation is commonly referred to as No Fap and is becoming increasingly popular.

I have tried it. I lasted only sixty-two days. But I can attest to improved and longer sleep, much higher motivation and achievement, and calmer moods. Surprisingly, these effects are all explained by the increase in testosterone.

People also argue that alcohol, drugs, coffee, and junk food reduce the claustrum oil. Their assertion being that your diet needs to keep your body alkaline, not acidic.

I have no opinion on this. But it does make sense. In this regard, meditation of any kind usually reduces your desire for these substances anyway. Anyone who has meditated heavily for at least a three-month period could attest to this.

Claustrum oil is also referred to by many as the Oil of Christ. They argue that the Bible is at times referring to the sacred creation of the oil. The oil is said to travel down to your sacrum (located at the base of the spine). They assert that the word secret comes from the word, secretion. Santa Claus is another analogy they use, as Claus travels down and up the chimney, or spine. The key number for the Freemasons is 33, and there are 33 vertebrae in your spine, and Jesus Christ lived for 33 years.

This to me, is merely speculation.

Interestingly in the later 1990s I overheard a gym instructor telling a girl who partied heavily that ecstasy pills reduced spinal fluid. Though there is some debate as to whether this is true, it would be interesting to know if there was some connection. In other words, if ecstasy pills which reduce serotonin also reduce the claustrum oil in the spine.

  1. Very interesting topic. Certainly gets the noggin jogging. I definitely agree that the synthetic chemicals all our foods are processed with are toxic by design
