Manly Warringah Sea Eagles gave captain Daly Cherry-Evans the perfect 350th game celebration with a commanding 58-30 win over the Dolphins at 4 Pines Park.
Despite conceding early tries, Manly responded with a 10-try blitz led by Tom Trbojevic, Tolu Koula, Luke Brooks and three-try star Tolutau Hopoate. Cherry-Evans pulled the strings with nine conversions from 10 attempts and a clever kick that set up Koula’s long-range effort, as Manly surged to a 46-12 lead before the Dolphins grabbed late consolations.
The result not only marked Cherry-Evans becoming just the fifth player to reach 350 NRL games but also kept alive the Sea Eagles’ faint finals hopes in front of a sun-soaked home crowd.
