Zian Flemming struck his first Ipswich goal in dramatic fashion to secure a late victory over 10-man Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Anan Khalaili put Palace ahead with a deflected effort before Emersonn headed Ipswich level, while Axel Disasi’s high challenge on Jack Clarke earned him a red card. Leif Davis then completed the turnaround shortly before half-time, heading home after combining with Emersonn.
Despite playing a man down, Palace fought back through Jorgen Strand Larsen, who beat Issa Diop before firing in the equaliser, but Flemming delivered the decisive blow at the death.
The defeat leaves Palace with three losses from their opening four matches, while Ipswich have already collected two wins — half the total they managed during their entire 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
