The Melbourne Storm claimed a hard-fought victory over the defending champions Penrith Panthers in a thrilling Round 3 grand final rematch of the 2025 Telstra Premiership.
Despite missing star fullback Dylan Edwards and coming off a rare loss to the Roosters, the Panthers pushed the Storm to the limit.
The match, featuring 10 tries and game-ending injuries to Nathan Cleary (head knock) and Nick Meaney (jaw), ended with the Storm securing the win at AAMI Park, where they have now triumphed in 22 of their last 24 home games.
