The Warriors capped off a historic season by thumping Queensland champions Burleigh Bears 50–20 to win the NRL State Championship, just a week after securing their maiden NSW Cup title.
Led by captain Kalani Going and boosted by stellar performances from former Bears Tanah Boyd and Taine Tuaupiki, the Warriors dominated from the outset in a farewell match for several club stalwarts, including Bunty Afoa.
Despite a determined second-half rally, the Bears—playing their third State Championship after previous losses in 2016 and 2019—were again outclassed by a record-breaking Warriors outfit.
