The One New Zealand Warriors must rebound from last week’s shock defeat to St George Illawarra when they meet the Parramatta Eels in Saturday’s NSW Cup preliminary final at Jubilee Stadium.
After dominating the regular season, the Warriors delivered a flat performance in their 24-10 loss to the Dragons, leaving their grand final hopes hanging by a thread.
Parramatta, despite heavy late-season defeats, arrive buoyed by a hard-fought 36-30 win over Canberra, while the Warriors are boosted by the return of NRL squad members Sam Healey and Tanner Stowers-Smith.
Victory would set up a premiership decider rematch with the Dragons on September 28.
