The One New Zealand Warriors have secured playmaker Te Maire Martin for the 2026 NRL season, extending his stay to four years since joining in 2023.
Off-contract at the end of 2025, the 29-year-old has been a valuable bench utility for much of this season, covering multiple positions and starting in the halves in recent games against the Dolphins and Bulldogs.
General manager Andrew McFadden praised Martin’s on-field contributions and mentorship of younger halves, while head coach Andrew Webster lauded his adaptability, club-first mentality, and ability to step up when injuries strike.
Martin, who has played 106 first-grade games, previously represented Penrith, North Queensland, and Brisbane before joining the Warriors.
