Kristian Doolittle powered the Perth Wildcats to an 88–75 win over the New Zealand Breakers, dropping 24 points and 14 rebounds as Perth controlled the game from the opening quarter and dominated the boards 59–42.
Despite a brief Breakers resurgence, Doolittle’s fourth-quarter takeover and strong support from David Okwera, Elijah Pepper and David Duke Jr kept Perth in front for over 34 minutes.
The Breakers, now 4–10, relied heavily on Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Rob Baker II, but were outmuscled inside, conceding 22 offensive rebounds and a massive 26–6 free-throw disparity.
Perth head coach John Rillie praised his side’s grit as they continue to reshape post-Bryce Cotton, while Breakers coach Petteri Koponen said his team’s inconsistency and lack of physicality proved costly on the road.
