Danish PM ‘strongly urges’ Trump stop Greenland threats

Denmark condemns Trumps threats over Greenland
Tiniteqilaaq, Greenland.

Denmark has told President Donald Trump to stop issuing what it described as threats over Greenland, after he again suggested the US needs control of the island for “national security” reasons.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said Washington has no right to seize territory within the Danish Kingdom, responding to Trump’s renewed claims that Denmark is unable to properly defend Greenland against Russian and Chinese influence.

“The US has no right to annex any of the three countries in the Danish Kingdom,” Frederiksen said, adding that she “strongly” urged Washington to stop threatening “a historically close ally” and “another country and another people who have very clearly said that they are not for sale.”

Trump, speaking to The Atlantic, said US control of Greenland was essential for defence. “We do need Greenland, absolutely. We need it for defense,” he said, arguing that the island’s strategic position made it critical to American and wider Western security.

The US president later mocked Denmark’s security efforts in Greenland, telling reporters aboard Air Force One that Copenhagen had “added one more dog sled” while the island was “surrounded by Russian and Chinese ships.” He claimed Denmark could not manage the “threat” facing the territory.

“We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security,” Trump said. “And the European Union needs us to have it, and they know it,” adding: “Let’s talk about Greenland in 20 days.”

Trump first floated the idea of buying Greenland in 2019, a proposal rejected outright by both Denmark and Greenland’s government. Since returning to office, he has revived the idea, at times hinting that force could be used.

In response, Denmark has moved to strengthen Arctic defences and expand military and civilian monitoring in the region.

Tensions have risen further after Trump appointed Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry as special envoy to Greenland in December. Landry has publicly supported incorporating the island into the US, prompting Denmark to summon the US ambassador for an explanation.

Following the US military operation in Venezuela, former Trump administration official Katie Miller added to the unease by suggesting in a social media post that Washington would “soon” take over Greenland.

  1. Hey Mette Frederiksen, I suggest you rehearse the escape to your panic-room bunker.
    Maduro didn’t make it.
    Does Luxxy have a bunker?
    Maybe Winny will share?

    • Trump is the darling of the Zionist J3w$!!!!
Suzie Wiles keeps Trump under control, Jared Kushner is running the cuntry covertly, and the illegally-registered J3wi$h Lobby AIPAC along with the ADL, SPLC, & ACLU are the weaponised tools of political policies, machinations and manipulations.
Trump only lives at the (Masonic) ‘White House’ while the Spitirs of Inequity flow in and out of the gates of Mar-A-Lago!
Russian, Chinese, Iranian and Israeli subs are off the coast of Florida, w/ U.S. subs using passive sonar to track and listen. U.S. subs would not be able to stop a coastal detonation of nuclear Poseidon Torpedoes or sea-launched Oreshnik Missiles. By the time the U.S. subs got their torpedo doors open and launch codes / torpedo targeting solutions entered into the system, everything will have already been launched by the adversaries.
I don’t think I would want to be living in South Florida, or any where elase in Florida at the current time or in future tense!
THAT is why many Yanks have moved into Appalachia, in order to get away from the storms, war and most especially, Zionist J3wi$h control that has overtaken Florida, making it unsustainable due to crumbling infrastructures, high property taxes, extortive insurance rates, and otherwise the general high const of living via hyperinflation.
The J3w$ are building gated ‘communities’ in both Florida and the Ukraine…

Native Floridians and Florida Pioneer descendants are being displaced from their homeland, just like the Palestinians, but in a very different way; using UNAFFORDABILITY AS THE PRIMARY WEAPON!!!!!

Those who survive will go to the U.S. where Israel has full control of the monetary system, political process and the cultural erasement of White Americans.

  2. The U.S. has been in Greenland over the last 150 years, starting with whaling stations right up to NORAD’s ‘Over the Horizon’ missile detection radar (recently renovated & updated…).
Thule has been a base where the B-52 & KC-135’s would go post nuclear strike (IF they survived…) to refuel, re-arm and sortie out of Thule to alternative Forward Operating Bases.
Every Morning the Strategic Air Command would hold briefings at their various Alert Facilities on DEFCON status, weather over targets, and Thule weather / runway conditions (dry, icy, etc.).
