Germans told to prepare for another war with Russia

Germany = Russia news

Moscow has previously dismissed claims that it plans to strike NATO as “complete nonsense”.

Germany should be ready to respond to a possible Russian attack, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has warned. He said that to prepare for such a scenario, Germany and its NATO allies must commit to strengthening their military capabilities.

In an interview with German public broadcaster ZDF on Monday, the defense chief pointed out that while Germany is not currently under a direct threat of attack, the country should do its best to be prepared for it.

If Germany wants to be ready for an attack “that you don’t know if and when it will occur, then that means you have to arm yourself – and that’s what we’re currently doing together with allies in NATO,” he explained.

Pistorius went on to say that “deterrence is the only effective means of positioning oneself against an aggressor from the outset” as it signals to a potential adversary that the target is capable of striking back. To achieve such a posture, however, Germany must have “a credible deterrent” and be able to “wage a war that is forced upon us,” he noted.

Commenting on a potential scenario in which Russia attacked the Baltics, Pistorius remarked that Berlin was setting up its “Lithuania Brigade” specifically to address those concerns. The unit, composed of about 4,800 soldiers is expected to be ready by 2027 and will be the first German force to be permanently stationed abroad since World War II.

Pistorius suggested that amid the Ukraine conflict it would take Russia at least several years to be ready for a full-scale offensive, and that Western countries should use the time to intensively arm themselves.

The German tabloid Bild reported earlier this month, citing a classified document, that Germany is preparing for a scenario in which Russia launches an “open attack” on NATO in mid-2025, following major victories in Ukraine. Moscow mocked the prediction as a “zodiac forecast.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed claims that Russia could attack NATO as “complete nonsense,” arguing that Moscow has “no geopolitical, economic… or military interest” in doing so. Still, the Kremlin has for decades voiced concerns about the US-led military bloc’s expansion towards Russian borders, viewing it as an existential threat.

  1. Germany as other european countries should do better to concentrate on domestic problems which are plenty, to start with their farming population a.o.
Talking of war is only a way to distract public opinion and to scare a few .
Putine and his government has built a welfaring russia and why would he “attack” germany. Another stupid WEF puppet. Ambition and no brain.

  2. The EU (Germany was once its proxy and the economic engine room of the proto-supranational globalist entity with pretensions of global control) ) continues to flounder on it own hubris, its ignorance of history and its DIE-ing gasps .

  3. This may indicate the Germany is planning a “false flag” attack on itself in order to start a war with Russia. Russia has no interest in Germany and has only been in Ukraine for 2 years to sort out the child trafficking and the biolabs.

  4. As bad as Operation Barbarossa went in the summer of 1941, imagine such an ops today with…(here we GOOOOO!) – CLIMATE CHANGE…AUTONOMOUS WEAPONRY,…HAPPY LITTLE DRONES…HYPERSONIC MISSILES BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE ATMOSPHERE…TRACKING DEVICES ON THE INVADING TROOPS…!
Putin wouldn’t be so foolish to invade Europe, and inherit it’s basket cases of immigration, economies bankrupted, social and political polyphoria,…you get the scene.
One of Putin’s past predecessors, the J3wi$h Zionist Bolshevik known as Joseph Stalin, was in fact planning to invade the West in 1943.
Hitler knew of this 3 minutes after the long-range Communist plan was finalised (the Germans had an excellent covert intel source in the Kremlin at the time..) in Stalin’s office, with Kagan, Beria, Molotov and Kruschev (ALL were rabid Zio-Communist Bolsheviks).
THAT is why Hitler tried to beat Stalin to the punch and invaded the USSR first.
Hitler was advised by his General Staff NOT to start World War Two via Poland in 1939, and to wait until mid-1943 before doing anything.
Had that happened, then the outcome would be VERY different. And we wouldn’t be dealing with the criminal terrorist ‘State of Israel’…!

  5. And…Nikki Haley is NOT her real name; her real name is Nimarata Nikki Randhawa-Haley.
Born in South Caroline to Sikh parents.
Not that any of that matters, but it’s the deceptive political content of political presentation vs political actioning-with hers being the exact opposite of what she says she’ll do is readily apparent.
Trump may very well remain vastly ahead in the Republican arena, barring another vote fraud, vote rigging, imprisonment via ‘Lawfare’ as seen in Third World Politics, and the very real threat of assassination as the Soros Family has hinted at just yesterday with a photo of a bullet hole in a window, and a hand holding $45, meaning Trump as the 45th President (past-tense…).

  6. With all the hardship the WEFfers and NATO have caused the Germans, a sizeable portion will welcome an invading Red Army as a liberating force. Who could blame them, they would be better off under an energy rich pro-Russian administration than their current middel-class-destroying pro-Washington puppet regime.

  7. Yes, I wonder if the current German Administration want another memorial placed in another Berlin Town square somewhere to replicate one the Russians erected after WWII ? I bet the puppet German Govt. has not thought about that one very much. If the Russians ever come to conquer Germany again there will be no Germany or much of the EU left to even talk about. The German Govt. would be better off concentrating on repairing their differences with Russia and come to an agreement to jointly repair a certain energy pipeline to the benefit of both countries especially Germany who is digging a bigger financial hole for itself everyday. Most of its prosperity is based on high tech manufacturing which depends on a plentiful and affordable energy supply. All the dumb ass German and EU puppets have still not worked out yet that in condoning the sabotaging of a certain energy pipeline they sabotaged themselves which only benefited the US. It allowed the US to spring board themselves to provide energy to Germany to help retain their petrodollar. This is at a huge expense to the German consumer because the energy has to be shipped in. There is no pipeline to the US.. NATO is just an another military arm of the US which coerces most of the EU to help do its dirty work for them. Russia does not have to sell any oil or gas to anyone they have enough reserves for more than a 1000 years even if the population was a 1000 times bigger. The EU is just a laughing stock, Russia is selling oil and gas to China and the EU is buying it back from China at a higher and inflated price just to help keep the winter chills out. And they want to go to war with Russia ? the whole German and EU administrations have got to be mentally incapacitated they all need to be in a home somewhere. Germany needs a strong forward thinking leader similar to their WWII one but without the genocidal leaning. Well, I mean to say he did build all the Autobahns 90 years ago and what would have Germany been today without them even if that was not their original intention.
