Sa’Niya Carter, a healthy one-year-old girl from Rochester, NY, died less than 12 hours after receiving six vaccine shots covering 12 diseases during a delayed wellness visit on March 27.
Following multiple seizures, she passed away, and an autopsy revealed brain swelling.
Her mother, unaware of the potential risks, now urges other parents to question vaccine safety.
The case has drawn attention from the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), which is arranging a second autopsy guided by a pediatric neurologist.
The incident has reignited debate over childhood vaccination schedules, informed consent, and whether current pediatric practices sufficiently reflect emerging scientific findings.
