The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has released new photos of a person wanted for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The images, shared late Saturday local time, aim to aid detectives as the investigation enters its fourth day.
On Saturday, an NYPD dive team searched a Central Park pond near Bethesda Fountain, combing the area for potential evidence.
This follows the discovery of a backpack believed to belong to the suspect, found near the park’s bandshell on Friday.
The backpack was located approximately 20 feet from a bustling walkway, now cordoned off with police tape as part of the crime scene. Authorities continue to follow leads and have urged the public to come forward with any information to assist in the manhunt.
