A top U.S. veterinarian has issued a stark warning about the widespread over-vaccination of pets, blaming industry-driven practices for a surge in chronic diseases among cats and dogs.
Dr. Marcie Fallek, DVM, claims that up to 70% of the cases she treats stem from vaccine-related injuries—especially from the rabies vaccine, which she calls one of the worst offenders.
Despite no canine strain of rabies being recorded in the U.S. for over 14 years, she says dogs and cats continue to receive excessive doses without consideration for their size or health status.
“A 150-pound Great Dane and a 3-pound toy poodle are given the same volume of vaccine,” Fallek noted, adding that repeated exposure to multiple antigens and foreign substances is damaging animal immune systems.
Dr. Fallek argues that the pet care industry, dominated by powerful conglomerates like Mars Inc.—which owns over 3,000 vet clinics and dozens of pet food brands—is prioritising profit over animal health. She says vaccine-induced conditions such as cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, and autoimmune disorders are becoming alarmingly common, with some pets even dying from acute allergic reactions.
Fallek also condemned the quality of commercial pet foods, often filled with grain-based fillers and seed oils, which she says are biologically inappropriate for carnivorous pets. The veterinarian is calling for stricter regulation, informed consent, and a reevaluation of routine veterinary practices she believes are harming more than helping.
“70% Of What I Treat Is The Result Of Vaccine Injury, Including The Rabies Vaccine—Which Is One Of The Worst.”

NZ veterinarians are also over vaccinating the pets with their yearly vaxes, It is really a money making procedure. Owners should demand a titer test, which is a blood test to ascertain what antibodies are in the blood. If there are antibodies of the diseases of past vaccinations then no further vaccinations are necessary. However this might affect the business’s bottom line, and many practices are now owned by the corporates.
Cats and dogs typically require only the two initial shots that come with them. Do you get boosters every 2 years?
We never vaccinated our animals years ago feed cats and dogs on scraps of food plus the odd bones and mince why do you thinkMars Inc the biggest pet food company own thousands of Vet clinics they make millions on sick animals the same goes for humans the MOH pumping vaccines into millions of people so they will get sick and their mate the drug companies make billons then hospitals and doctors are paid off. Do not vax your animals or yourself be strong say no.
