A group of protesters gathered outside an EU building in Rome and pulled down the EU flag.
In the video a man whose face is covered by an Italian flag climbs a ladder to reach the flag pole on a balcony more than 3 metres above street level.
The raucos crowd chant pro-Italian slogans as the man unfastens the flag and throws it into the crowd. Police arrive and start striking some of the protesters with batons.

All the mainstream media start spreading that Italy is taken over by far right politicians and extremists. BBC, and Al Jazeera in particular are spreading lies about Italian politics.
