Two planes have collided at a Veteran’s Day air show at Dallas Executive Airport.
The accident happened at 1.20pm local time in front of thousands of spectators.
Footage of the collision was captured on video. Following contact both planes crashed into the ground and exploded into flames.
It’s understood the two planes were a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra. Six people are believed to have died.
The National Transport Safety Board will now conduct an investigation and the airport will remain closed until that has been completed.
