President-elect Donald Trump announced he would not invite former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley or ex-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to join his new administration, while thanking them their past service.
While Haley, who ran against Trump in the Republican primary, garnered backing from prominent Wall Street conservatives, she struggled to win over Trump’s base.
Pompeo had served as both CIA director and Secretary of State.
Trump and President Joe Biden are set to meet at the White House on November 13 to initiate the transition of power.
👏YES!! 🎉🍾
This means Trump is serious. I am so glad these two loser neocons won’t be poisoning our future. From here on out Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley should never be allowed to operate anything more powerful than a coffee grinder. pic.twitter.com/fgLHZcZzVk— Chris Martenson, PhD (@chrismartenson) November 10, 2024
