England crush Wales in Six Nations

England delivered a record-breaking Six Nations victory over a hapless Wales, winning 10 tries to two in a dominant 14-68 performance at the Principality Stadium.

The visitors’ tactical gambles, including Tommy Freeman’s midfield shift and a forward-heavy bench, paid off as their sheer power overwhelmed Wales, whose 17th consecutive defeat leaves them with the Wooden Spoon.

England’s commanding first half, featuring tries from Maro Itoje, Tom Roebuck, and Freeman, all but sealed the win before halftime.

Despite late resistance, Wales had no answer to England’s relentless intensity.

Steve Borthwick’s side now wait anxiously for the France-Scotland result, knowing that a French slip-up could hand them their first Six Nations title since 2020.
