Prince Harry calls for Royal Family reconciliation amid security row after Court defeat

Prince Harry has expressed his desire for reconciliation with the Royal Family in an emotional interview following his failed legal challenge over UK security arrangements.

Speaking to UK state-controlled media outlet BBC from California, the Duke of Sussex said he was “devastated” by the Court of Appeal’s decision and blamed the Royal Household for influencing the reduction of his security, describing the process as a “stitch-up.” He revealed that King Charles “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff” but emphasised he no longer wants to fight, acknowledging the limited time he may have with his father. Despite forgiving his family, he said the ruling made it unsafe for him to bring his wife and children back to the UK, adding, “Life is precious.”

The court found that although Harry raised strong concerns about threats to his safety, his arguments lacked legal merit. Judges noted the official committee had diverged from its usual policy in 2020 but deemed this “sensible” due to Harry’s unique status. The prince criticised the process, claiming it was tainted by interference from the Royal Household, and was shocked to learn its representatives were involved in the decision-making body. He stated that his status was downgraded without proper review and plans to appeal to the UK government for reform of the security oversight process, calling on Prime Minister Starmer and Home Secretary Cooper to intervene.

  1. It seems this numpty wants all of the privileges of royalty yet eschews all of the attendant responsibilities.
    Wouldn’t we all?
After 70 years supporting the Monarchy, I am now ready to say let them all go back into obscurity. A “woke” King and his disfunctional brood are no longer serving any useful constitutional purpose.

  2. Running out of money eh harry & he needs more gossip to sell to news outlets as if charles would ever trust him or that nasty wife of his ever again
