Kiwi driver Liam Lawson qualified ninth for the Hungarian Grand Prix, marking his second consecutive top-10 start with Racing Bulls.

Despite challenging conditions, Lawson secured a Q3 appearance, posting a best lap just 0.449s off pole-setter Charles Leclerc.

Crucially, Lawson out-qualified teammate Isack Hadjar and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

With overtaking notoriously difficult at Hungary, Lawson aims for another points finish, having consistently converted strong qualifying positions into race results this season.
