Anthony Joshua has been released from hospital in Nigeria following a serious car crash that killed two of his close friends and team members.
Nigerian authorities said the former world heavyweight champion was medically cleared to recover at home after being treated in Ogun State.
Joshua was a passenger in a Lexus SUV that struck a stationary truck on a major expressway near Lagos, with preliminary findings indicating a tyre burst before the collision.
The victims were identified as Sina Ghami, Joshua’s long-time rehab coach, and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
Joshua later visited a funeral home where arrangements were being made to repatriate their bodies.
