Warriors extend winning surge as Dragons’ nightmare season continues

The New Zealand Warriors continued their impressive form with a convincing 12-30 victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons, stretching their winning streak to six matches under coach Andrew Webster.

Dominant performances through the middle from Jackson Ford, Erin Clark and James Fisher-Harris laid the platform for the Warriors to control the contest against a Dragons side enduring a disastrous campaign, with the club now 0-11 to start the season — the worst opening run since the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2006.

Attention now turns to Brookvale, where the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles face the Gold Coast Titans, with the visitors desperate to halt a four-game losing skid despite Manly missing several key players through suspension and Origin duty.
