Warriors prop Tanner Stowers-Smith has committed his long-term future to the club, signing a two-year extension that will keep him in Auckland through the end of the 2030 NRL season.
The 22-year-old Christchurch product has quickly developed into a regular first-grade presence since debuting against the Dolphins last year, making 13 appearances in his rookie campaign and 18 so far this season.
Stowers-Smith, who progressed through the Warriors’ development system, is averaging 122 metres and 24 tackles per game in 2026, with 37 tackle breaks. Recruitment chief Andrew McFadden praised his rapid development, while coach Andrew Webster highlighted the front rower’s professionalism, work ethic and willingness to improve, describing him as a valuable long-term asset for the club.
