According to a report by NBC news Harris was rushed to hospital on Sunday suffering a cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead at 8.53pm.
A statement on the American Idol Instgram page said, ‘C.J. Harris was an incredible talent, and the news of his passing deeply saddens us. He will truly be missed.’

In all my life I cannot remember so many young people dying a sudden death. In your 30s you die of car accidents and war machines, not cardiac arrests.
And we all know exactly why … and hardly anyone can claim ignorance anymore or, worse, that they were acting under ’orders’.
