The rapper was brutally attacked by three men.
According to TMZ it appeared from surveillance camera footage that the attack was pre-planned.
‘Check out the video, obtained by TMZ, showing one man already inside the South FL LA Fitness location chatting on his cell phone. The man approaches the front door of the gym to let another man in, and after a brief convo with the front desk employee, they beeline it to the gym’s restroom and sauna area joined by a third man.’
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s music is noted for its aggressive lyrics, and the man himself, legal name Daniel Hernandez, has been involved in a number of public feuds with celebrities.
The rapper was taken to hospital suffering injuries to his face, jaw, back and ribs.
In 2019 Tekashi 6ix9nine avoided a lengthy jail sentence when he turned ‘snitch’ and testified against his former Bloods gang associates in a criminal trial. In the video the assailants can be heard cussing the rapper as a ‘snitch’.
The ‘rainbow haired’ rapper was mocked mercilessly on Instagram, with many commenting that karma was catching up with him.
