Disney worker injured by runaway boulder prop during live stunt show

Disney worker recovering after being hit by giant boulder

A worker at Walt Disney World is recovering after being injured by a runaway boulder prop during a live performance of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! in Florida.

The incident occurred when a 400-pound rubber prop, used to recreate a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark, moved off its track and rolled toward the audience.

Video footage shows the staff member stepping into the boulder’s path before being knocked to the ground, preventing it from reaching spectators.

Disney said the injured worker is recovering and confirmed the scene will be modified while a safety review is carried out.
