Investigators have removed a body from a sushi shop located in Browns Bay following the violent attack on Thursday night.
The individual succumbed to self-inflicted injuries after attacking the owner of Neco Sushi, causing severe injuries. The owner’s condition has stabilised in Auckland Hospital.
Police confirm the incident was isolated, as the individuals involved were known to each other.
