Coster resigns as Police Commissioner, lands top role in new ‘woke’ Social Investment Agency

Coster resignation news

Police Commissioner Andrew Coster has stepped down to head the newly formed ‘Social Investment Agency’.

His resignation from the police force, effective November 11, signals a shift from traditional law enforcement to the ever-expanding “social justice” apparatus funded by the state.

Coster, whose term as police commissioner was due to end in April next year, had already indicated he would not seek reappointment. His transition into the cushy new role —designed to entrench the government’s “social investment” approach — marks a continuation of his track record in championing so-called “progressive” reforms, many of which have sparked criticism from those skeptical of the woke agenda.

Appointed by Acting Public Service Commissioner Heather Baggott, Coster will assume a dual role as both the chief executive of the Social Investment Agency and Secretary for Social Investment. The agency claims its mission is to spearhead initiatives that “drive change in social services delivery” and “influence more effective expenditure”. But critics argue that this is simply another vehicle for Marxist-inspired overreach, using public funds to push identity politics and social engineering.

During his tenure as police commissioner, Coster was often labelled a “wokester” by critics, including former National Party leader Simon Bridges. Under Coster’s watch, police resources were allocated to politically-charged reports on racism and colonialism within the force and training for non-existent hate speech laws.

The Social Investment Agency, backed by figures like Deputy Prime Minister Nicola Willis, aims to “collect data” and “build tailored solutions,” which critics say is a thinly-veiled reference to increased government surveillance and monitoring under the guise of better social outcomes.

  1. Coster’s defining moment was in a dawn raid, he ordered his thugs to smash and beat the protestors at parliament.

He did not police with consent. He does not have the nation’s consent. He is a person of non grata.

He is no longer welcome among the people of this nation.
