Police are continuing to investigate an unexplained death at a residential property in Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore on New Year’s Day, with the cause of death yet to be determined.

Detective Inspector Aaron Pascoe said enquiries so far indicate that earlier in the day a group of people, including one adult and at least two children, may have visited the address on Kerr Street and used the swimming pool.

Police do not believe those individuals were present at the time of the death, but are asking them to come forward to help officers confirm movements and any observations made during their visit.

Anyone who was at the address, or who may know the identities of those people, is urged to contact Police on 105 and quote file number 260102/0177.
