Goldsmith signs extradition order for Kim Dotcom

Kim Dotcom extradition news

Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith has signed an extradition order for Kim Dotcom, bringing the German-born internet entrepreneur closer to being deported to the United States.

He faces charges of alleged criminal copyright infringement, money laundering, racketeering, and wire fraud.

Dotcom, who moved to New Zealand in 2010, has been fighting extradition since his arrest in 2012 as part of a global crackdown on his file-sharing site, Megaupload.

Dotcom maintains he is innocent of the charges.

Goldsmith said that after careful consideration of “advice” from the Ministry of Justice, he decided that Dotcom should be surrendered to the US to face trial.

  1. That sucks, He/Dot com seems to be another thruth speaker that they want silenced, He has my full support to stay. Another example that this government is no better than the last, and they are just gearing up.

    • “Another example that this government is no better than the last, and they are just gearing up.”
      Too right!
They are they same instructed puppets as the red crowd. ALL of them megalomanic tools for the international bankster elite.

  2. Governments with absolutely no secrets will do everything in their power to crush you and destroy your life if you publish any of the secrets they don’t have.

Oh, they also want to know what you say and text, where you live and work, who you talk to, how you vote and which vaccines you’ve had.

    Because democracy, right guys?

    Guys?

The 1998 film “Safe House” with Patrick Stewart is an interesting film: He is a retired black ops agent who has mild Alzheimer’s and has a house minder. At the end of the film, it turns out that the house minder is also a black ops agent who has been hired to kill him because he has damaging information on a VIP. Patrick Stewart’s character wins the fight and then releases information from a remote source direct to a whole list of news agencies.

It’s a clever idea because in the film they show that there is a “dead man’s switch” such that if Patrick Stewart’s character does not disarm the process every day, then the information is automatically released.

I cannot help wondering if Kim Dotcom has something like this.

    • Here is a tidbit for you. Assange’s deadman switch was activated post raid in the embassy compound and massive internet outage in Europe and US( where the servers were located) and raid on his team at the same time, some of his team did not make it in the weeks that followed and wikileaks was compromised and faded into obscurity. Assage made an “appearance” in the following weeks to show he was alive, unfortunately the bug in video gave it away that it was a deepfake. He has been the same since.

  4. So there’s obviously a list of people to target. JK Rowling, Elon musk, Kim Dotcom to name a few. Donald trump, Andrew rate. Who is next? Joe Rogan? People with large audiences who stand for freedom are the targets.

What is sickening to me is our government putting Kim up for this.

Shame on you goldsmith, seriously hoped for better from you.

  5. Goldsmith in his bright blue globalist suit, doing the will of his US masters.
Re the ‘Safe House’ movie – there would be no use releasing any information to the news media now because they would not print it. (See Hobson’s Pledge and the NZ Herald)
From what I can gather, it seems the whole case against Kim Dotcom is about breach of copyright – which is a civil matter, not a criminal one. It is probable his most egregious sin was not evading copyright laws, but daring to make a profit from doing so. The importance of keeping copyright profits for whoever owns the copyright can be seen in the way the US has persisted with the case against Megaupload.
Got to protect the profit god.

  6. Goldsmith has burnt up all his political capital in an afternoon. My bet is he will stand down at the next election and walk quietly into the night.

  7. How embarrassing for a National government ( enterprise, business and capitalism ) to allow one of the country’s entrepreneurs to be curtailed by the technically questionable DMCA.
