Greytown hit-and-run: Drivers of vehicles urged to come forward

Wairarapa Police investigating a hit-and-run in Greytown are still seeking further information in relation to vehicles identified travelling between Greytown and Carterton between 600-7:00am on Sunday 25 June.

The incident happened on Sunday the 25th of June between about 6:30-7am, on State Highway 2 between North Street and Ahikōuka Road.

The victim suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle while walking northbound alongside State Highway 2.

As part of the investigation, Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the owners of the vehicles in the pictures above and below.

These vehicles were travelling North through Greytown and Carterton on the morning of Sunday the 25th of June.

Police believe the drivers may be able to assist in the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who may have information, or knows who the vehicles belong to, to please contact Police on 105 quoting file number 230713/0952.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
