Four people will be sentenced next year for defrauding banks out of $8.7 million.
They are Joshua Grant and his wife Sian Grant, and Bryan Martin and his former partner Viki Cotter.
The scheme involved use of fake employment agreements to inflate the personal incomes of Sian Grant and Cotter. The banks relied on this information to issue the group loans they would otherwise not have obtained.
Sian Grant and Cotter had pleaded guilty earlier this year, but Joshua Grant and Martin took their case to trial and were found guilty yesterday.
