A late-night fire has extensively damaged a multimillion-dollar home in Muriwai, Auckland, drawing nine fire crews to the scene.
Fire and Emergency responded to the incident at around 9.58 pm, finding the property on Constable Rd engulfed in flames. Crews from various locations, including Muriwai, Kumeu, Shelly Beach, and others, were involved in controlling the blaze. While hotspots were being extinguished, an investigator was set to assess the site later. According to legacy media, St John and police were not called, and the fire was contained without affecting surrounding vegetation. The $3.4 million property, with views of the Tasman Sea, was left with significant structural damage, as photos revealed a nearly collapsed roof and walls.
