Luxon condemned for undermining Trump’s peace efforts in Ukraine

Luxon Ukraine war news

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has ignited a storm of criticism after posting a tweet reaffirming his government’s “steadfast support for Ukraine” in its war against Russia.

Luxon’s statement, which claimed to support the defence of “democracy and international law”, was met with overwhelming negativity, particularly in light of U.S. President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to broker a peace deal between the warring nations.

Trump has positioned himself as a mediator in the Ukraine conflict, advocating for an end to hostilities and warning against continued financial and military aid to Ukraine. His stance has gained significant traction, particularly among western societies tired of the financial support given to Ukraine and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s handling of the conflict.

Luxon’s tweet appeared to ignore the changing global sentiment, reinforcing support for Zelensky’s war effort rather than aligning with Trump’s peace-focused diplomacy.

Critics accused him of undermining efforts to resolve the conflict by negotiations. Many condemned Luxon for his “tone-deaf approach” to a conflict that has drained Western resources and divided public opinion.

X erupted with derision, accusing Luxon of supporting a war Zelensky played a significant role in escalating. One user pointedly referenced a recent diplomatic blunder where Zelensky was caught muttering an expletive in Russian towards U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

“You missed Zelensky calling the Vice Potus SUKA under his breath. That is Russian for HORE! Yes, they speak Russian—I worked with Ukrainians in the 90s, they all considered themselves Russian. We should keep our nose out of that one!” one comment read, underscoring the complexity of the situation Luxon failed to acknowledge.

Others took an even harsher tone, with one person questioning Luxon’s commitment to his own citizens, stating: “You hate the people that voted you in, Mr Luxon? … Just admit it.”

Another user sarcastically suggested that Luxon should put his words into action by joining the frontlines himself: “Can we send you over to the front? You little grunting pigmy.”

One of the strongest criticisms came from those pointing out the massive financial burden placed on Western taxpayers to fund Ukraine’s war effort.

“America gave this CLOWN $350 billion. NZ taxpayers forked out $130 million. Get yo ass over there Luxon and defend Ukraine yourself?!” another comment read, symbolic of growing discontent over continued financial aid to a conflict many now believe should be brought to an end through diplomacy rather than warfare.

Luxon’s political future could be in jeopardy if he continues to alienate his own voter base. One commenter bluntly put it: “MORE LOST VOTES.” Another noted that Luxon is already on shaky ground within his own party, writing: “Your polls are tanking, you’re on 3-month probation as leader apparently & you now insult @POTUS @JDVance @SecRubio. @NZNationalParty & party membership need to do something & fast. You do not speak for the majority of New Zealanders‼️

With Zelensky’s standing in the international community rapidly deteriorating and Trump’s influence on global affairs continuing to grow, Luxon’s insistence on backing Ukraine without consideration of the broader political shifts could prove to be a significant miscalculation. Critics argue that New Zealand’s leader should be prioritising national interests and aligning with allies advocating for peace rather than prolonging a war that has cost countless lives and billions in taxpayer dollars.

  1. Did he condemn the occupation of Golan Heights? No.

Both labour & national are the two cheeks of the same arse. Minor parties are shyte sticking to them.

Globalist agents will speak the same script sent to them.

    • Which is why we need the NZ Loyal Party to re-ignite with the same platform but under the name ‘New Zealand Loyalist Party’.
Loyal to New Zealanders, and no one else!
Luxon is a Masonically-based Zionist, and at this point cannot be trusted.
IF he is in fact advocating continued support for Zelensky and the Ukraine, then there has to be a Zio-Globalist J3wi$h influence behind the scenes here in NZ.
Both it and Luxon needs to go!

      • Liz Gunn should not of and had no right to shut down NZ Loyal
She should have just moved to one side
        Gross breach of trust
Amid being very disappointing the fledgling party not having got off the ground
But yes a new party is very positive if it can attract the right people

        • I’d rather have an honest person plus their faults running NZ loyal than any wannabe politican who would sell us down the river. If Liz chooses to lead aparty again I will vote for her.
Ithought we all had enough of liars and charalatons running our country.

    • I parise Israel’s occuptaion fo the Golan heights. They won it fair and sqaure after they were attacked – admittedly by nincompoop toy boys pretending to be soldiers – who were soundly beaten and sent packing with their T64s between their legs.

Israel won’t give up the Golan and I for one praise them for this.

  2. Well, it has been quite a day. Zel being roasted by the US Administration and reporters, and now this other dwarf, Luxton, really showing his true colours as a little WEF puppy. Sadly he is our dwarf. But he doesn’t speak for me, and no doubt a growing number of Kiwis. He is so out of touch with the reality of the world it’s more than embarrassing, it’s sickening.

But it shows how bereft we are of politians of any quality across the entire spectrum of New Zealand politics no matter the party. We really are in dire straits. So, let’s all move to Russia and be done with it. At least they have a real military and trains that run on time…

  3. Yes, Luxon is an incompetent PM and an embarrassment. Though, it would help if the ignorant on X learnt how to spell; The correct spelling is”whore” and Pygmy. Showing their lack of whatever will only open themselves up to ridicule by the target of their ire and hence dismissal.

    • Agreed. That is a big problem of alternative voices. Not getting their basics right. And not being taken seriously because of that.

      • It is a problem if voices who clearly were curbed in their edjucation by subsequent governments to create uneducated (but not dumb) and socially dependent (but not dis-empowered) people.
Just because one is not perfect with spelling and grammar, they do have a right of expression.
Count yourself lucky. Get over being a grammar fanatic and let the gist speak. In fact, support and encourage such voices.
Me speka funni but luxon still a rotton egg
        How u spell trajtor?

      • David/Johan, spare well-meaning commentators and readers with your insufferable hypocrisy:
David, it is not “learned” but “learned”
And Johan, it is not a “problem of”, but it is a “problem for”.

  4. Wait. What! PM Luxon spent how much? Almost as bad as PM John Key “donating” 7.7 million + 5.5 million NZD taxpayers money to the Clinton Foundation. For what? Total corruption.

Luxon needs to step down. 130 million dollars? I seriously question Luxon’s moral judgement continuing to fund a war rather than supporting a peacemaker.

    • Makes sense that loser Luxon, puppet of the WEF would support cokehead Zelensky. After all he gave him over $100 million of NZ taxpayers money. What benefit was that to NZ? Zelensky was probably high on coke at his meeting at the White House. He showed a complete lack of self awareness and self control.

  5. The general rule of warfare attrition is 1/3rd killed to 2/3rds wounded not returning to service. 1.5 million Ukraine + mercenary deaths would indicate 3 million wounded. 4.5 million total. No wonder Kiev is considering lowering the age to 16 yrs, and forced conscription. Thats a whole generation of Ukrainian brothers, fathers gone! and soon to be sons if they keep this up. It is a terrible thing.

    • Rubbish. However, you are right – ukarine will cease to exist at the current rate.

We will see Ukrainians goign over to the Russiians soon and then Ukraine will cease to exiost as it is gobbled by by its true owners, Russia, Rumania, Poland, Byelorus, Hunagray etc.

  6. I saw a program on a cable news channel years ago. I cannot remember which channel and it was not a holiday program but rather some sort of documentary about Ukraine. It was way before 2022 when the Ukraine-Russia war started, perhaps about 2015 or there-abouts.

The program presenter was in Kiev and asked, “What are all those yellow flowers on the ground?” – there were THOUSANDS of flowers.
A Ukrainian citizen replied that they were a commemoration of Russian speaking Ukrainian citizens who had been shelled and killed by the Ukrainian military.

The Ukrainian regime (I would guess the Azov brigade, who are NAZIs) would routinely shell with artillery Russian speaking areas – innocent civilians – in order to kill them. Note that this was when no war was going on.

The Ukrainian regime was never a democracy because they would willingly kill their own people way before the 2022 war started.

All these leaders who unconditionally back Ukraine, you have to ask WHY …

    • Approximately 14 000 East-Ukrainian civilians have been killed by their own countrymen in order to suppress pro-Russian sentiment, ethicity, language, education, culture, etc..
This happened during approximately 10 years before 2022 when their Russian brothers had enough and liberated them.
      14 000 civilians murdered!
THAT is the history no Western media reported.
Europe is lost. It has been hijacked by a cabal of installed WEF puppet politicians, all corrupted and blackmailed by another cabal, by the internatjonal bankster cabal.

  7. Luxon, he’s playing to the crowd who still lap up msm news. All those fools who believe Russia is about to fight more countries and Trumps not a politician but a rich man tallying up with that man you can’t trust, Musk. If only that woman had campaigned sooner but slow Joe got in the way.

Well that’s what I heard in a Te Awamutu waiting room yesterday. I couldn’t believe my ears.

    • Does anyone still recall what news stands for? North, East, West, Stouth. Not pre arranged lies from goverment and sent out through their paid up mickey mouse distributors, RNZ, Stuff, etc.

  8. Luxon must support something as he has not supported the wishes of the people who elected him. He is a disgrace to Nz . No for-site no balls no ???
He is better than labour but David /winston should be running the country with luxon being in the shadows .

  9. If the age of conscription was raised to 50 years of age and older, these political blowhards and heavy into self preservation, would then keep their big brave mouths shut.

  10. See something a quite a bit more powerful going on.

I see the Rothchilds deep state paying Starmer and the EU to hit back at Trump and his devastating attack on US aid payment. I see the 50% drop of US spending hurting deep state business. I see the Rothchilds pushing for war and the deaths of our sons. I see the US having to rescue the UK and Europe from the deep state.
War is coming and sadly we in NZ or at least our leaders seem to be hell bent on war.

The heads of the deep state and its all its blood must be taken down. Start with removing US currency back to the US government. Without notice, do it in an instant.

    • Europe is doomed with an inherent death wish
A ship without a rudder headed for a lee shore
Hell bent on annihilation and self destruction
      A ship of fools

    • You are totally right, it is a ( jews) bankers’s war. First interest free loans, remember ?? so that state could borrow cheap, which was trap.
So governments are now endebted. And the loans are not anymore interests free.
Why do you think that larry fink is a regular visitor of all european governments.
Their modus operandi is always the same.
Trap with debt and then you can dictate and lay your hands on assets

  11. He’s like a stale loaf of bread. Time for him and his Biden style globalist government to go. We don’t need globalists who support and help pay for foreign wars, that have cost innocent countless lives, with our hard earned money. Especially when we have problems that need to be paid for, back home.

Lets just hope the sheep don’t vote in the other globalist arse cheek, Labour.

  12. So sorry to hear that Liz Gunn backed off re NZ Loyal Party. Being charged with assault for tapping someone on the shoulder is no reason to quit. She has been vindicated since then and I doubt any thinking person believes NZ is heading in the right direction. National, the ACT and Labor are destroying this nation. Liz Gunn, Winston Peters and NZ First – we need you now to save this country at the next election. Stand up and be counted.

  13. People are sick and tired of these politicians reeling off the same old bull**** “we stand with Ukraine”. Just like a chorus of puppets they say the same old thing. Starmer, Albanese, Trudeau and Luxon, all a bunch of w**kers hiding behind their desks while some poor mother in Ukraine loses her only son. F*** off the lot you.
